Associate Veterinarian

About the role

Best Friends Veterinary Center is seeking a compassionate and collaborative Associate Veterinarian to join their AAHA-accredited small animal practice in Grafton, Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive veterinary services for small animals and select exotic pets, including surgery, dentistry, acupuncture, canine rehabilitation, diagnostics, and wellness care.
• Develop and maintain a Fear Free patient care approach.
• Collaborate with a supportive team dedicated to medical excellence, professional growth, and client education.
• Offer preventive care and wellness services.
• Perform general soft tissue surgery and veterinary dentistry.
• Work with clients to educate them on best practices and care for their pets.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and CE activities.

Requirements

• DVM or equivalent degree.
• Wisconsin veterinary license (or ability to obtain).
• Interest in client education, collaboration, and high-quality medicine.
• Experience with exotics is a plus but not required.
