About the role
South Shreveport Animal Clinic is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join their established small animal veterinary practice in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, client-focused medical and surgical care
- Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions in companion animals
- Collaborate with fellow veterinarians and support staff to provide exceptional patient care
- Participate in case discussions and ongoing professional development
- Build trusted client relationships through education and communication
- Maintain accurate medical records and uphold hospital standards of care
- Support wellness, preventive care, and long-term patient health
Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school
- Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in Louisiana
- Passion for client education and preventive medicine
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Collaborative, team-oriented mindset
- Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care
- Interest in mentoring and supporting fellow team members is a plus

Pay
The salary ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
