Associate Veterinarian

About the role

This opportunity is flexible and can be either full-time or part-time, depending on your needs. Ideally, the schedule would consist of four 10-hour shifts each week, giving you a three-day weekend every weekend!

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional veterinary care to small animals
• Collaborate with two experienced veterinarians (both Texas A&M graduates)
• Participate in a structured mentorship program for new graduates and early career doctors
• Attend monthly rounds with an internal medicine specialist
• Receive dentistry training courtesy of a board certified dental surgeon
• Receive annual CE allowance with paid days off to attend

Requirements

• DVM/VMD from an accredited program
• Licensed (or eligible) in Texas
• 3+ years of hands-on clinical experience preferred

Qualifications

• Strong surgical, diagnostic, and communication skills
• Passion for high-quality patient care and client service

Skills

• Knowledge of AAHA standards of medicine
• Experience with high-end medicine and advanced diagnostics
• Proficiency with cloud-based software (eVetPractice)

Pay

The salary ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
