Associate Veterinarian

About the role

VCA McKenzie Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join our dynamic team in Springfield, Oregon. We are an AAHA accredited, AAFP/Cat Friendly Practice Gold Standard hospital that supports the vibrant community of Springfield and its surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Practice advanced veterinary medicine within a supportive team environment
• Work a rotating schedule with three days in appointments and one day in surgery
• Enjoy a full-time position with no on-call hours
• Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and are closed on Sundays and major holidays

Requirements

• Current North American Veterinary Licensing Exam (NAVLE) or North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE) certificate
• Must be licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Oregon

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
• Experience in advanced veterinary medicine
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
