About the role
VCA Benicia Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Relief Veterinarian to join our fast-paced AAHA-accredited, 2-doctor small animal practice in Benicia, California.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients
- Participate in wellness and client education programs
- Support community involvement initiatives
- Utilize in-house diagnostic equipment such as in-house labs, ultrasound, digital radiography, and oxygen cages
- Offer digital dental radiographs and preventive care solutions through VCA’s CareClub
- Work alongside a supportive and well-trained staff and management team
Requirements
- Current veterinary license in good standing
- Experience in a similar practice setting preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
- Completion of an AVMA accredited internship or residency program

- Excellent clinical skills

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
