Associate Veterinarian

About the role

We are seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our team at VCA 12-Mile Animal Hospital. You will be part of a supportive and collaborative environment where you can thrive and grow.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality small animal medicine, including dogs and cats
• Work within hands-free radiology safety standards
• Participate in AAHA-accredited practices
• Mentor students and new graduates
• Engage in professional development opportunities
• Build strong relationships with clients and colleagues

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university or equivalent
• Licensure in good standing to practice in Oregon state, or the ability to obtain
• A commitment to high standards of veterinary medicine and ethical practice

Qualifications

• Experience in small animal medicine
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Passion for veterinary care and animals

Pay

Salary is negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, and other relevant credentials. Salary range is based on a 40-hour work week.

Schedule

Flexible scheduling options available, including Full-Time and Part-Time positions. Current hours are Monday – Thursday, 7am – 6pm. Hours may expand as the DVM team grows.
