Thrive Decatur is seeking an experienced, full-time Veterinarian to join our team. You’ll have the opportunity to practice high-quality medicine alongside a supportive team while bringing your own experience, perspective, and clinical interests to the hospital. Our progressive compensation model includes competitive base salaries with production compensation opportunities—plus, no negative accrual.
About Thrive Decatur
Located just outside of Atlanta, Thrive Decatur is a small-animal primary care practice serving dogs, cats, and their families throughout Decatur and the surrounding Atlanta communities. Our hospital focuses on accessible, relationship-based veterinary care while providing doctors with the tools and support they need to practice quality medicine.

Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse caseload independently while collaborating with colleagues
- Serve as a trusted resource for clients and their pets
- Practice high-quality medicine in wellness, preventive care, diagnostics, dentistry, and surgery
- Build lasting relationships with clients and patients
- Contribute to the growth and positive culture of the hospital
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree
- State Veterinary Board License in good standing for the state of hire, prior to start date
- Active DEA license or eligibility for DEA licensure
- Previous experience practicing as a veterinarian in a general practice or similar clinical environment
- Confidence managing medical cases independently
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to exceptional client and patient experiences
