About the role
Stonyridge Veterinary Services is looking for a full-time, experienced small animal veterinarian to join their team in Troy, Ohio.
Responsibilities
- Take charge of routine and complex medical cases
- Manage wellness and sick appointments
- Perform general surgical procedures
- Build strong relationships with clients and team members
- Collaborate with a supportive, team-oriented staff
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree
- State Veterinary Board License and must be in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired, prior to their start date
- Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible
Qualifications
- Experience in small animal medicine (dogs & cats)
- Confidence managing wellness and sick appointments
- Proficiency in general surgery (preferred)
- Strong communication skills and ability to build client trust
- Experience working with and mentoring veterinary support staff
Skills
- Confident in managing surgical procedures
- Effective communicator with clients
- Team player with strong collaboration skills

Schedule
