About the role

Thrive Pet Healthcare – Oak Lawn is seeking a full-time Veterinarian to join their team in the Chicagoland area. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside a supportive team in a collaborative environment that values high-quality medicine and compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive small animal care, managing wellness and medical cases
• Communicate effectively with clients to build lasting relationships
• Collaborate with a team of experienced CVTs to support efficient, high-quality care
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree
• State Veterinary Board License and must be in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired, prior to their start date
• Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible

Qualifications

• Willing and able to provide comprehensive small animal care
• Experience in a fast-paced, community-focused practice
• Ability to work in a busy, community-focused hospital with a diverse caseload

Pay

Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with an annual PROSAL full-time range starting at $120,000 - $160,000/year. The actual salary offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
