Associate Veterinarian
About the role
You're an experienced veterinarian who has built strong relationships with patients and their families--and you're ready for the next chapter. Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse case mix-from wellness and preventive care to diagnostics, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery
- Work alongside a skilled team of doctors with specialties in cardiology, internal medicine, surgery, and feline medicine
- Contribute to the clinical culture, standards, and strategic direction of the practice
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required
- Minimum 3-5 years of clinical experience in general practice preferred
- State Veterinary Board License and must be in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired, prior to their start date
- Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible
- Demonstrated interest in clinical leadership, mentorship, or team development strongly preferred
- Experience or interest in areas such as dentistry, surgery, internal medicine, or feline medicine a plus

We see dogs and cats for the full spectrum of care. Our hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art ultrasound and X-ray technology, enabling non-invasive, accurate diagnostics. We are one of the few veterinary clinics in Albuquerque with full dental X-ray capability. We are open, Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, serving Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, and Corrales, NM
