Associate Veterinarian

About the role

We’re a privately-owned, AAHA Accredited small animal hospital seeking an experienced DVM or enthusiastic new graduate. We’re looking for someone who has great people skills and a commitment to providing the best possible care and service to pets and their people.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive veterinary care to a variety of small animals
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and colleagues
• Contribute to the practice’s ongoing improvement in patient care and client satisfaction
• Mentor new graduates and participate in continuing education opportunities

Requirements

• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Maryland
• Experience in small animal medicine and surgery, or strong interest in developing these skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in veterinary medicine or related field
• Passing score on the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE)
