Associate Veterinarian

About the role

Responsible for managing the daily operations of a pet sitting service, ensuring pets are cared for safely and comfortably while their owners are away.

Responsibilities

• Arrange pet care schedules based on client requests and availability.
• Ensure pets receive proper nutrition and exercise according to their needs.
• Provide emergency care as needed and coordinate with veterinarians.
• Document all interactions and pet health updates in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in animal science, veterinary medicine, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in pet care or related field.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients.
• Knowledgeable about common pet health issues and first aid.
• Experience with pet insurance claims and documentation.
