About the role

Hillside Veterinary Hospital in Charles Town, WV is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our collaborative team. We handle a variety of medical and surgical cases, including soft tissue surgeries, orthopedic procedures, mass removals, and wound repairs. This opportunity is suitable for veterinarians at all experience levels.

Our hospital features state-of-the-art equipment such as x-ray, dental x-rays, ultrasound, and a surgical laser. We foster a close-knit team environment and are located in a charming town with local shops and restaurants, just 1.5 hours from Washington, DC.

Responsibilities

• Serve patients and clients with a relationship-based approach
• Collaborate and engage with the clinical team and leadership
• Grow relationships within the practice and the Charles Town community
• Encourage the growth of support staff members through our internal LevelUp training program
• Manage a varying caseload, including surgeries and appointments during open hours

Requirements

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program)
• Active license in good standing to practice in the state of employment (or ability to obtain one)
