Associate Veterinarian

About the role

Beachwood Animal Clinic AND New Smyrna Beach Animal Medical Center in New Smyrna Beach, FL are hiring a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their friendly, client-focused practice. They are seeking a veterinarian available to split their time working between both clinics (only 4 miles apart).

Responsibilities

• Provide medical, surgical, and preventative care for canine, feline, and small exotic patients.
• Diagnose and treat illnesses; perform routine and elective surgeries.
• Counsel clients on preventive care, nutrition, behavior, and follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and collaborate with team members on case management.
• Participate in after-hours rotation (shared) and occasional on-call duties.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university.
• Active veterinary state license.
• Current DEA License preferred but not required.
• USDA Accreditation preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Educated and experienced veterinarian.
• Open to mentorship and leadership opportunities.
• New graduate with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
