Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive veterinary care to a variety of animals
• Perform routine and complex medical procedures under supervision
• Collaborate with the team to develop and implement treatment plans
• Conduct regular health check-ups and vaccinations
• Assist in surgical procedures as needed
• Communicate effectively with clients to provide education and support
• Participate in continuing education opportunities to stay current with veterinary medicine

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA-accredited institution
• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Minnesota
• Experience in small animal medicine preferred but not required for recent graduates
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Passing score on the North American Veterinary Licensing Exam (NAVLE)
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Positive attitude and ability to handle stressful situations

Skills

• Proficient in electronic medical records systems
• Skilled in patient handling and restraint techniques
• Knowledgeable in preventative care and wellness programs

Competitive base salary (up to $140,000)
