About the role

We are seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our dedicated team at All Creatures Animal Care Center. As a member of our compassionate and supportive team, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding clinical care in both routine and emergency scenarios. Your role will involve communicating clearly and empathetically with pet owners and contributing to a variety of services including preventive, surgical, and exotics care.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive care for a diverse range of patients, including dogs, cats, farm animals, birds, and pocket pets.
  • Perform routine and preventive care services such as wellness exams, vaccinations, dental care, nutritional counseling, microchipping, parasite prevention, and senior pet care.
  • Contribute to surgical procedures, including spays/neuters, tumor removals, and other advanced care options.
  • Provide skilled care for large animal and exotic pets, ensuring their health and well-being.
  • Supervise boarding services for pets, ensuring their comfort and safety under veterinarian supervision.

Requirements

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA-accredited institution.
  • Current license to practice veterinary medicine in Mississippi.
  • Experience in small animal, exotics, and large animal care is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with pet owners.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to collaborate with a supportive and experienced team.
