About the role

We are currently seeking a tax associate with 1 to 3 years of experience to join our Nashville office.

Responsibilities

  • Provide tax advice and assistance to clients
  • Prepare and review tax returns
  • Assist in the preparation of tax-related documents and reports
  • Conduct research on tax laws and regulations

Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of tax experience within a Law Firm preferred.
  • May consider associates with a general transactional or corporate background looking to pivot to an M&A tax specialist role.
  • Excellent writing, speaking, researching, and analytical skills, along with a strong academic background.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Must be able to be admitted to the Tennessee Bar.

Pay

Expected Pay Range for Associates: 2026/2025 Class Compensation Years: $235,000 2024 Class Compensation Years: $245,000 2023 Class Compensation Years: $270,000 2022 Class Compensation Years: $320,000 2021 Class Compensation Years: $385,000 2020 Class Compensation Years: $410,000 2019 Class Compensation Years: $440,000 2018 and more senior class compensation years: $455,000
