About the role
This is a full-time, in-office position in our Charlotte office with potential for a hybrid schedule after training.
Responsibilities
- Review submission information required to issue new or renewal quotes
- Rate and prepare new or renewal quotes as directed by Underwriter
- Review and handle inspection recommendations and discrepancies
- Maintain consistency in various reports
- Potential for policy issuance and endorsement processing, including audits
- Assist in accounting procedures such as invoicing
- Data entry into multiple internet-based systems
Requirements
- Eagerness to learn and grow as a team
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and customer service mentality
- Strong work ethic, critical thinking skills, and attention to detail
- Excellent computer skills including typing proficiency, Microsoft Office proficiency with an emphasis in Excel spreadsheet
- Prior insurance experience is not required, but is a plus!
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a related field is not required, but is a plus!
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
