About the role
This position is responsible for quoting and rating proposals and renewal projections and approves cases within established authority guidelines.

Requirements
- Bachelor degree or 2 years experience in a group health insurance function
- Math skills including the four basic math calculations (addition, subtraction, division & multiplication) and ability to estimate for mathematical reasonableness
- Interpersonal skills to establish and maintain business relationships
- Independent judgment and problem resolution skills
- Work management skills including the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time and workload to meet deadlines
- Verbal and written communication skills to include correct grammar, word choice, precision, conciseness, structure, audience appropriate tone and language
- PC proficiency to include Word and Excel
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of health care products and covered eligibility
- Knowledge of state and federal legislation governing underwriting practices
Pay
$39,300.00 - $86,400.00 Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location

This is a Flex (Hybrid) role: 3 days in office; 2 days remote
