ASSOCIATE TRANSPORTATION PLANNER
About the role
The incumbent works independently on the State’s management of the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Section 5311 and 5311(f) programs. These programs provide grants for public transit operators in rural areas as identified by the FTA.
Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate annual Section 5311 grant applications.
- Ensure the timely processing of requests for reimbursements.
Requirements
The selected candidate will be required to commute to the headquartered location as needed to meet operational needs. Business travel may be required, and reimbursement considers an employee’s designated headquartered location, primary residence, and may be subject to CalHR regulations or applicable bargaining unit contract provisions.
Qualifications
The Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) is required. Failure to submit a Statement of Qualifications will disqualify candidates from the hiring process.
