Associate Trainer - Insurance

Note: This position requires travel both within St. Louis, MO and out-of-state, using your personal vehicle; a good driving record is required.

Responsibilities

• Train and educate new and existing employees in both technical skills and product knowledge, primarily in classroom settings.
• Develop, establish, and conduct virtual classes via web conference tools, including creating presentations using adult learning methods.
• Consistently update management on the progress of classes.
• Manage travel, complete expense reports, respond to emails and other communications promptly, and submit rosters accurately in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Experience with insurance products or a Property & Casualty license recommended.
• Presentation skills in facilitating classes and leading discussions for both small and very large groups.
• Creativity to enhance classroom education and presentation materials.
• Experience in one-on-one coaching and tutoring others.
• Ability to assimilate new information quickly and demonstrate initiative to enhance knowledge and skill levels without close monitoring.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, adapt to sudden changes in priorities and projects, and persevere in pursuit of critical information to see projects through to completion.
• Microsoft Suite experience:
  • Intermediate PowerPoint and Word skills.
  • Intermediate to Advanced Outlook.
  • Basic Excel and Access skills desired.
