Associate Therapist / Licensed Therapist

Responsibilities
- Performs journey-level professional casework and clinical services with mentally and emotionally disturbed clients
- Affirms and monitors clients’ behaviors while in treatment for chemical and alcohol abuse and dependency
- Works as a team member with other professionals
- Participates in evaluative and diagnostic staff conferences
- Conducts individual, family, and group therapy; interviews clients and relatives
- Participates in collaborative treatment with representatives of other agencies
- Prepares verbal, written, and statistical reports
- Attends conferences, workshops, and training to maintain current awareness of mental health methodologies and issues
- Operates a personal computer and other office equipment
- Communicates effectively with others in person and over the telephone
- Analyzes data, interprets directions, procedures and regulations, and develops appropriate responses
- Performs job duties under stressful conditions
- May be assigned some lead and special work coordination responsibilities
Requirements
- Must obtain and maintain a license as a mental health professional regulated by a state board (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC)
- Must possess a master’s degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, or counseling
- Must possess a current CPR and First Aid certification
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License

Pay ranges may be adjusted in the future depending upon many factors including business needs.
