Associate Technician Production Operations - UA

About the role

The Technician Production Operations is responsible for following engineering drawings, work order documentation, Manufacturing Assembly Procedures, SOPs, and other written and verbal specifications in the manufacturing production process. They run tests, perform troubleshooting and repairs on machinery and equipment according to requisition established documentation (e.g., SOPs), blueprints or other drawings. They perform test set-up, calibration, functional testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Follows engineering drawings, work order documentation, Manufacturing Assembly Procedures, SOPs, and other written and verbal specifications in the manufacturing production process.
• Run tests, perform troubleshooting and repairs on machinery and equipment according to requisition established documentation (e.g., SOPs), blueprints or other drawings.
• Perform test set-up, calibration, functional testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies.

Requirements

• 2-year associate’s degree
• 6+ months of manufacturing assembly experience
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Able to lift, move or carry equipment up to 30lb
• Able to work on their feet daily

Qualifications

• Previous experience in electro-mechanical or medical device assembly or testing
• Following written SOPs
• Knowledge of using Windows computers

Pay

The hourly rate for this role is $25.62. This is the rate that we in good faith believe is the appropriate level of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This rate may be modified in the future.

Schedule

This position reports to the Production Supervisor and is part of the UA test team located in Chaska, MN and will be an on-site role.
