Associate Technical Recruiter
Job Duties And Responsibilities
This role plays a key part in transitioning our recruitment function from a reactive hiring model to a proactive, sourcing-led engine that drives delivers top-tier talent for our engineering, product, and architecture teams. You will solve the challenge of technical talent scarcity by moving beyond application reviews to actively hunting passive engineers and unblocking complex hiring hurdles through real-time market insights.
Success is defined by the ability to act as a high-energy technical advisor to Engineering leadership—leveraging tech-stack fluency and market intelligence to influence hiring decisions and deliver top-tier talent in an onsite, fast-paced environment.
What Success Looks Like (Objectives)
Map competitor talent pools and identify key technical hubs to build a sustainable pipeline of high-potential candidates for critical engineering, cloud architecture, and cybersecurity functions.
Conduct initial technical deep-dive screens to evaluate candidate alignment with specific tech stacks (e.g., Java, AWS, Microservices) and engineering methodologies before submission to hiring leads.
Following ramp-up time, will meet or exceed a delivery target of 16 technical hires per quarter across varying levels of seniority while maintaining a "Time in Process" of 30 days or less.
Drive 20% of total hires through outbound sourcing of passive technical candidates to find niche talent.
Deliver high-quality shortlists with a 2:1 submission-to-interview ratio through rigorous technical assessment and alignment with specific engineering requirements.
Utilize AI-sourcing tools and technical market data to identify aging requisitions early and lead recalibration sessions with Engineering leaders to adjust requirements or sourcing strategies.
Skills, Experience And Requirements
Core Skills and Competencies (What you’ll bring)
- A solid understanding of core recruitment principles, candidate evaluation, and HR best practices gained through your academic background in Human Resources.
- A strong eagerness to learn software engineering concepts, tech stacks, and industry terminology to converse knowledgeably with candidates and hiring leads.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the confidence to build strong relationships with candidates and internal leadership.
- Critical experience in full-cycle technical recruitment ownership, including strategic intake for engineering roles, high-activity outbound hunting, and complex offer negotiation for high-demand talent.
- An analytical mindset suited for conducting market research, candidate mapping, and compensation benchmarking.
- Curiosity and comfort with learning and utilizing modern HR technology, automation, and data platforms, and artificial intelligence tools.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources
- Minimum Experience: 0-2 years of experience
- Required Technical Skills: Strong desire to build a long-term career in Talent Acquisition/Technical Recruitment.
- Willingness to learn enterprise ATS platforms (e.g., iCIMS).
- Enthusiasm for mastering technical sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow).
- Location: Ability to work 5 days a week onsite (non-remote).

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $63,150.00/Year - $90,000.00/Year
