Associate Teacher, Pre-Nursery (Part-time)

About the role

Join our dynamic team of educators at our Pre-Nursery program. We are seeking an experienced Associate Teacher to support our young learners in their early educational journey.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with the curriculum.
• Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for students.
• Assist in maintaining classroom discipline and ensuring student safety.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement school-wide initiatives.
• Participate in regular professional development activities to enhance teaching skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• At least 2 years of teaching experience in a similar setting.
• Valid New York State Teaching Certificate.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children aged 2-4 years old.
• Knowledge of child development theories and practices.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Skills

• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
