Associate Teacher, PBIS

About the role

Centennial Academy seeks a dedicated educator to join our Lower Academy team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching STEAM subjects and fostering a love for learning in young minds.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging STEAM curricula for kindergarten through grade 2 students.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary projects that enhance student learning experiences.
• Assess student progress regularly and adjust instruction accordingly to meet individual needs.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in education.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the elementary level.
• Strong background in STEAM subjects.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with project-based learning methodologies.
• Knowledge of EL Education frameworks.
• Passion for social emotional learning and its impact on student success.

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Google Workspace tools.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Schedule

The schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
