About the role

Assist in the procurement/subcontract process, including sourcing and evaluating suppliers, obtaining quotes, and preparing purchase orders.
Support the management of supplier relationships, including communication, performance evaluation, and issue resolution.
Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess market trends.
Maintain accurate procurement/subcontract records and documentation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services, and to drive supply chain best practices and efficiencies.
Aid in the preparation of reports and presentations related to procurement activities.
Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance procurement/subcontract efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Standardize and modernize RFP templates and subcontract document packages for consistency and compliance.
  • Attend internal meetings, supplier discussions, and government compliance reviews as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supply chain teams.

Requirements

To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Public Policy / Government Contracts or a related field or have completed their Bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.

Qualifications

  • Salary range: $56,000.00 - $104,000.00 (California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C., Denver, or NYC areas).
  • Must be a U.S. citizen to qualify for security clearances.
  • Must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
