Associate, Structured Settlements Underwriter

Responsibilities

• Support analyzing and executing structured settlement payment transfer investment opportunities.
• Evaluate risk on each file in a reasonable time frame and make presentations to management as necessary.
• Timely coordinate with counsel, as necessary, to provide additional risk assessment.
• Manage day to day relationships with internal and external parties.
• Prepare memorandums related to structured settlement payment transfers.
• Perform other ad hoc projects as required.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years’ experience in underwriting structured settlement payment transfers.
• Excellent research and decision-making skills, and superior attention to detail.
• Able to manage multiple complex tasks and prioritize competing demands.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Strong team player who operates well within an entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience: 3-5+ years’ experience in underwriting structured settlement payment transfers.

Pay

The expected base salary range for this role is $70,000 - $90,000.
