About the role

Silicon Labs is seeking an experienced analog design engineer to develop wireless communication ICs for IoT applications. The AMS team is responsible for creating and delivering various analog/mixed-signal blocks integrated into multiple SoCs, targeting several projects the team is working on simultaneously. Responsibilities include analog/mixed-signal circuit design, analysis, and implementation, laboratory measurements and validation of ICs, and assisting with the development of efficient production tests and customer support.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Education Requirements: M.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent training with 5+ years of analog/mixed-signal design experience developing mixed-signal ICs.
  • Minimum Requirements: Strong motivation to contribute to all aspects of chip design, experience with analog IC circuit design in a CAD environment, strong knowledge of analog/mixed-signal circuit concepts, simulation, and testing techniques, good verbal and written communication and presentation skills, positive attitude, and willingness to work on a team as a technical leader and mentor to junior members.
  • Additional Skills: Working knowledge of UNIX, Matlab, and circuit simulation tools, experience/knowledge of analog/mixed-signal circuits used in IoT ICs, experience leading other analog/mixed-signal designers, low power design and implementation techniques, experience with IC design at advanced technology nodes, competence in behavioral modeling (e.g. Verilog, VerilogA) and high-level languages (e.g. Matlab, C), scripting languages (e.g. Tcl, Perl, SKILL), experience with artificial intelligence (AI) powered tools and technologies used to enhance productivity, analysis, and decision-making.

Pay

The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $124,600 - $231,400 USD. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, geographic location where work will be performed and applicant's skill set.
