About the role

The Associate Specialist, Quality Control plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality of products through various testing methods and interactions with different departments.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts release testing in support of finished product, including sterility testing, detection of residual moisture, and average cell dry weight testing.
  • Conducts microbiological testing; evaluates environmental microbiological samples.
  • Conducts environmental monitoring sampling, including active air and surface sampling and water sampling.
  • Evaluates data, conducts troubleshooting, process improvements, report writing, involvement in interdepartmental committees and projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the pharma or related industry.

Qualifications

  • Understanding and application of Good Laboratory Practices and cGMPs.
  • Aseptic technique.
  • Performance of environmental and water systems monitoring.
  • Working in a team environment.

Skills

  • Understanding and application of Good Laboratory Practices and cGMPs.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
