About the role
The Associate Specialist, Quality Control plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality of products through various testing methods and interactions with different departments.
Responsibilities
- Conducts release testing in support of finished product, including sterility testing, detection of residual moisture, and average cell dry weight testing.
- Conducts microbiological testing; evaluates environmental microbiological samples.
- Conducts environmental monitoring sampling, including active air and surface sampling and water sampling.
- Evaluates data, conducts troubleshooting, process improvements, report writing, involvement in interdepartmental committees and projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the pharma or related industry.
Qualifications
- Understanding and application of Good Laboratory Practices and cGMPs.
- Aseptic technique.
- Performance of environmental and water systems monitoring.
- Working in a team environment.
Skills
- Understanding and application of Good Laboratory Practices and cGMPs.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
