Position description
The Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences is now recruiting an Associate Specialist. The job duties and responsibilities will include:
- Leading studies related to neural circuit dysfunction in models of mood and anxiety-related behavior.
- Performing systems neuroscience studies.
- Oversight and training of students and postdocs in performing their studies.
- Performing high-density neural recordings in behaving mice to determine the neural computation underlying adaptive fear-related behavior and its relation to bodily states.
Required Qualifications
A master’s degree (or equivalent degree) or five to ten years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
A PhD.
