Key Tasks (Major Duties And Responsibilities Of The Position)

• Develop / maintain ground software for satellite data analysis, data exploitation algorithms, and/or data processing systems
• Perform microservice development using Python
• Interface with and help build full stack web applications using Python, Django, and cloud technologies (AWS with CloudFormation)
• Work with Agile, DevSecOps, CI, and CD concepts, using tools like Jenkins, test automation, and others
• Perform unit-level software testing for all assigned features and support integration testing as applicable
• Provide system administration support for the cloud-based development environments or dedicated stand-alone systems identified in the program architecture
• Lead and mentor technical teams
• Collaborate with both internal and external customers to maintain a positive and productive work environment
• Provide tasking and technical direction to junior engineers, and review work products at multiple levels
• Develop / maintain training materials
• Support risk and opportunity assessments

Requirements

• BS degree or higher in Engineering or a related technical field is required
• The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is $90,000 to $127,000
• Final salary will be determined based on various factors

Qualifications

While not specified, candidates must have an active TS/SCI clearance.

Skills

Knowledge of Python, Django, and cloud technologies (AWS with CloudFormation) is required. Experience with Agile, DevSecOps, CI, and CD concepts is preferred.

Pay

The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is $90,000 to $127,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
