Associate, Software Engineer

About the role

Morgan Stanley Services Group, Inc. is seeking an Associate, Software Engineer in Alpharetta, GA to develop and maintain software applications for Morgan Stanley’s Capital Markets platform.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all aspects of application development, including functional and technical specifications, design, development and support.
• Ensure high quality of deliverables while enforcing software development best practices.
• Participate in steering and evolving engineering excellence.
• Develop individual modules that contribute to larger project deliverable goals.
• Identify system deficiencies and implement effective solutions.

Requirements

• Requires a Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field of study.
• Requires two (2) years of experience in the position offered or two (2) years as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or a closely related occupation.
• Requires two (2) years of experience with the following skills:
• Programming languages including Java, Python, C++, Scala, and JavaScript;
• Frameworks including SpringBoot, Pytorch, Tensorflow, Keras, Java Persistence API (JPA), LangChain, and LlamaIndex;
• Testing Frameworks including Junit, Mockito, Postman, and Selenium;
• Automation and Build tools including Gradle, Maven, Splunk, Harness, and Jenkins;
• Cloud technology including Docker, Kubernetes, Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Snowflake.

Qualifications

Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.
