What You’ll Do Confidential Client is seeking an Associate Software Engineer to join a product-focused engineering team supporting M&A Tax solutions and internal tools. You will develop modern software and GenAI-enabled features, work with cloud data stacks, and help deliver production-quality solutions that enable business users and client engagements.Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and GenAI-enabled tools that support internal operations and external M&A Tax engagementsTranslate business requirements into scalable data and software solutions in collaboration with senior engineers and domain expertsWork with Microsoft Fabric components (Data Engineering, Data Factory, Synapse) and other cloud data technologies to process and analyze complex datasetsParticipate across the full software development lifecycle: implement features, write tests, debug, and deploy via CI/CD pipelinesIntegrate AI models, workflow automation, and advanced analytics into existing platforms and day-to-day workflowsProduce technical documentation, participate in code reviews, and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering and agile practicesCommunicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and act with professionalism and integrity What We’re Looking For Minimum requirements to be considered for this role:Minimum of 1 year of recent full-time experience in software engineering, full-stack development, data engineering, or a related technical roleBachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related fieldProficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, C#, or JavaScriptPractical experience with database design (SQL and/or NoSQL) and API developmentHands-on experience or strong familiarity with Microsoft Fabric (Data Engineering, Data Factory, Synapse) is highly preferredExperience with cloud infrastructure (Microsoft Azure preferred), containerization, and DevOps practices (CI/CD, Git)Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical team members Nice-to-Have / Preferred Prior exposure to GenAI model integration or machine learning model deploymentExperience building automation workflows that integrate with business platformsFamiliarity with observability tools, infrastructure-as-code, and modern testing practices Compensation & Benefits Confidential Client provides a competitive total rewards package that may include medical, dental, vision, retirement savings (401[k]), paid time off, and other voluntary benefits.
