Associate Signal Processing Engineer
for section headings like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Only include sections when there is real specific content. We must preserve all substantive info, not invent or summarize away detail. Remove boilerplate like EEO, legal, etc. Also remove navigation, cookie, application instructions. Also remove duplicated lines. Also remove "Clearance: ..."? That's part of qualifications maybe. We need to include sections: maybe About the role (intro), Responsibilities, Requirements (minimum qualifications), Qualifications (preferred?), Skills? Could combine. The instruction: Use for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). So we can decide which sections have content.
We have content: description of MITRE and role (About the role). Responsibilities: list of typical projects and responsibilities may include bullet points. Minimum Qualifications: list. Preferred Qualifications: list. Skills: maybe we can extract from qualifications: proficiency with MATLAB, Python, C++; strong analytical skills; ability to obtain clearance; strong technical background in areas; excellent written and oral communication; experience delivering reports, presentations, code. Could be a Skills section.
Benefits: posting mentions "competitive benefits, meaningful career development, and a culture of innovation..." but not specific benefits. It says "Benefits information may be found here." No explicit benefits listed. So we should NOT create Benefits section because no specific content. Pay: Salary compensation range and midpoint: $89,200 - $111,500 - $133,800. That's specific. So we need Pay section. Schedule: Annual Work Location Type: Hybrid. That's schedule? It's work location type, maybe schedule? Could be considered Schedule? The instruction says Schedule section only if posting actually states them. It states Annual Work Location Type: Hybrid. That's about work arrangement, could be considered Schedule? Might be better to put under a section like Work Arrangement but not listed. Since they only gave headings list, we could use Schedule for hybrid. But it's not exactly schedule (like full-time/part-time). However it's the only location/work arrangement info. I'd include Schedule with Hybrid.
We must not include placeholder text like "commensurate with experience". Not present.
We must not repeat job title as heading. So no Associate Signal Processing Engineer.
We must not put Job ID/requisition numbers as headings.
We need to preserve all substantive info. So we need to include the description paragraphs about MITRE and role. Also the responsibilities bullet list. Also the minimum qualifications bullet list. Also preferred qualifications bullet list. Also skills maybe derived from qualifications but we risk duplicating. Perhaps better to have sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Minimum Qualifications, Preferred Qualifications, Pay, Schedule. Skills could be omitted if covered. But instruction says we can use Skills heading if we have content. We could extract skills from qualifications: proficiency with MATLAB, Python, C++; strong analytical skills; ability to obtain clearance; strong technical background in areas; excellent written and oral communication; experience delivering technical reports, presentations, code. That is substantive. We'll include Skills.
We must not invent or summarize away detail: we need to keep the detail. So we need to keep the bullet points as they are, not summarizing.
We need to output only HTML fragment, no /, no markdown fences.
We'll produce something like:

We’re a nonprofit engineering, applied research, and advanced technology organization working in the public interest. With objectivity and integrity at our core, we lead federally funded research and development centers for U.S. government agencies – collaborating with industry and academia to deliver integrated, high-impact solutions that advance our nation’s health, security, and prosperity. Our people tackle the toughest technical challenges, supported by competitive benefits, meaningful career development, and a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence. Choose MITRE for a career with purpose — and help shape the future. MITRE is seeking an Associate Signal Processing Engineer to support the development of advanced RF capabilities for our U.S. Government sponsors. At MITRE, you will apply your understanding of RF systems to model and simulate complex electromagnetic environments and leverage your signal and information processing expertise to develop resilient communications systems and mission-critical sensing capabilities. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and experience in both classical digital signal processing/digital communications and machine learning/data science. This position will require a strong grounding in RF systems; the candidate should possess a working knowledge of the fundamentals of receiver design. The candidate should be familiar with wireless technologies and engineering challenges associated with employment of RF systems.
Responsibilities
- This position requires an ability for innovative thought, technical expertise, and interest in the development of cutting-edge resilient wireless solutions for Government Sponsors. In this position, you will apply your technical expertise towards furthering the public good by developing, applying, and evaluating state-of-the-art communications and signal processing technologies.
- Typical projects include: End-to-end modeling and simulation (M&S) of commercial cellular physical layer signals to enable spectrum coexistence innovation.
- Development of novel signal processing algorithms for improved signal detection in congested environments.
- Evaluation of different MIMO transmission schemes for throughput, reliability, interference mitigation, etc.
- Theoretical analysis for performance assessments of novel geolocation techniques.
- Waveform design and prototyping under challenging channel conditions.
- Next-generation AI-enhanced signal processing design for ISAC or spectral efficiency.
- Characterize bands under study for repurposing or coexistence with commercial and incumbent systems.
- Evaluate and advance propagation modeling based upon system operations.
- Responsibilities may include: Using technical knowledge of communications and signal processing principles to help solve problems across various application areas.
- Designing models and simulations or lab tests to evaluate technical solutions.
- Define appropriate evaluation methodologies to evaluate the compatibility of communication, radar, and navigation systems operating in shared or adjacent frequency bands.
- Assess the operational impacts of interference on system performance across current and emerging technologies E.g., commercial 6G on government systems.
- Mentoring and staff development of junior engineers and continued technical growth.
- Comprehension of standards documents to inform M&S decision-making.
- Leading the development and contributing to the develop of project proposals for sponsors and internal research and development (IR&D).

We should not include Benefits section because no specific benefits listed. We must remove boilerplate: EEO, legal, accommodation, copyright, etc. Also remove "Clearance: In addition to passing MITRE’s employment background check..." That's part of qualifications? Actually it's a separate paragraph about clearance. We have ability to obtain and maintain US Top Secret clearance in minimum qualifications. The clearance paragraph also mentions other clearance levels, but we can incorporate? The posting says: "Clearance: In addition to passing MITRE’s employment background check, you may be submitted for a U.S. Government Security clearance. This is determined by the Department of Defense’s adjudicative guidelines for receiving a clearance, to include U.S. citizenship. Other jobs may require vetting for various levels of agency public trust, fitness, suitability, controlled access, and special programs access determination consistent with the work program to which you are assigned. This requisition requires the candidate to have a minimum of the following clearance(s): None This requisition requires the hired candidate to have or obtain, within one year from the date of hire, the following clearance(s): Secret" We have minimum qualification: Ability to obtain and maintain a US Top Secret security clearance. But the posting says they need Secret within one year. There's a discrepancy. We must preserve all substantive info; we cannot invent or summarize away detail. So we need to include the clearance details as given. The minimum qualifications says Top Secret; but later says Secret within one year. We need to keep both. So we should include a section maybe about Clearance? But we only have allowed headings list; we could include a paragraph under Responsibilities or maybe under Minimum Qualifications? Better to add a separate section maybe "Clearance" but not in allowed headings. However we could incorporate into Minimum Qualifications as a note. But we must not lose the detail about Secret within one year. So we can add a paragraph after Minimum Qualifications: maybe under a heading "Clearance" but not allowed.
