Associate / Senior Associate, Underwriting, Healthcare Finance

About the role

Responsible for evaluating and underwriting healthcare finance transactions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and risk management standards. Works closely with clients, attorneys, and other underwriters to assess financial viability and market conditions.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and analyze financial statements and other documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Assess creditworthiness of clients and potential investments
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and industry contacts
• Prepare and present underwriting reports and recommendations to senior management
• Stay current with changes in healthcare finance regulations and industry trends

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in healthcare finance or related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Qualifications

• Knowledge of healthcare finance regulations and compliance
• Experience with healthcare finance software tools
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
