Associate Scientist, Sample Preparation

Role Overview: An Associate Scientist performs biological sample preparation and routine laboratory techniques to support downstream analysis. The position involves preparing solutions, executing extractions, maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities Execute routine sample preparation techniques, including extractions, tissue preparation, and purificationPerform and document testing activities following SOPs and regulatory guidelinesRecord observations, perform calculations, and prepare data for evaluationIdentify performance errors or unusual results and escalate to senior staffMaintain laboratory equipment, inventory, and workspace according to 6S standardsCommunicate effectively with stakeholders Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in life sciences preferred; high school diploma with equivalent experience acceptableAt least 6 months of experience in a regulated laboratory environmentProficiency with pipetting, routine calculations, and biological matrix extractionsExperience with tissue preparation, purification, or automated instrumentationKnowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and safety standardsStrong attention to detail, multitasking ability, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
