Associate Scientist- Personal Care, Deodorants
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for formulating Antiperspirants and Deodorants across different formats
- Responsible for day-to-day lab bench work including but not limited to formulating for stability studies
- Manage formula workstream for multiple projects with cross functional team as key project team member
- Demonstrate the ability to present information to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Plans, implements and evaluates formulation prototypes using standard scientific methods (i.e. statement of purpose, documented procedure, interpretation of results and conclusion)
- Any other responsibilities as needed
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years experience in Personal Care preferred
- BS in Biology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or another closely related field
- Working knowledge of ingredients, formulation, process and product design principles
- Proficient in Microsoft office suite (Excel, Word, Power point)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Working knowledge of root cause analysis, problem solving techniques and application to existing and new products
- Project and time management skills to coordinate multiple work streams and timelines for innovation projects.
- Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships

Pay
The pay range for this position is $59,300 to $88,900. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
Bonus
This position is bonus eligible.
