Associate Scientist I - TLM

About the role

The Translational Medicine (TLM) department of QPS is seeking an Associate Scientist to join one of our three laboratory operations units: Biomarker Analysis (BMA), Gene & Sequence Analysis (GSA), or Immunobioanalysis (IBA).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine lab operations, such as preparing reagents, pipetting, weighing, monitoring, and replenishing supplies.
• Assist supervisor in performing analysis of drug or other targets in complex biologic matrices.
• Set up, use, and maintain complex instrumentation.
• Document experiment details, calculations, results, and observations in accordance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Perform routine mathematical and chemical calculations.

Requirements

• Hold an undergraduate degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, Pharmacology, Medical Technology, or a related field.
• Associate’s Degree plus 2 or more years relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Desire to learn and grow professionally.

Qualifications

• No visa sponsorship (e.g. H‑1B, L‑1, E) will be provided for this position.
• Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent or unrestricted basis.

• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of laboratory equipment and techniques.
• Good communication skills.

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

This job will be 100% QPS-office/facility based.
