Associate Scientist I/II, Discovery Neuroscience
for section headings (e.g., About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). We must not repeat job title as heading. We must not include Job ID etc. We must preserve all substantive info, not invent or summarize away detail. Remove boilerplate: cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, application instructions. Also remove "Company Description About AbbVie ..."? That is company description; maybe we can include as a paragraph under a heading? The instruction says use headings for sections like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. It doesn't forbid other headings? It says use for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). Likely we should only use those headings when we have content. We can also include a heading like "About AbbVie" maybe not required but could be considered "About the role"? The company description is not about the role. Might be better to include as a paragraph under a heading like "About AbbVie" but that's not in the list. The instruction says "use for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." It doesn't forbid other headings, but suggests those are typical. Safer to stick to those headings only when we have content. We have content for Responsibilities (Key Responsibilities), Qualifications (Required Qualifications, Preferred Qualifications), Skills (Core Competencies maybe), Benefits (Additional Information includes benefits), Pay (Additional Information includes compensation range), Schedule? Not mentioned. So we may not include Schedule.
We must not emit a heading followed by filler/placeholder text. So we need to ensure each heading has substantive content.
We need to preserve all substantive information: company description, job description summary, responsibilities, qualifications (required and preferred), core competencies, benefits, pay range, maybe note about eligibility for short-term incentive programs.
We must remove boilerplate: EEO statements, accommodation links, etc. Also remove duplicated lines.
We need to output only HTML fragment, no /, no markdown fences.

Pay
Applicable only to applicants applying to a position in any location with pay disclosure requirements under state or local law: The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
We must ensure we didn't include any boilerplate like EEO, accommodation links, etc. We removed those. Also we removed duplicated lines like "Follow @abbvie on LinkedIn,Facebook,Instagram,XandYouTube." and "For more information about AbbVie, please visit us atwww.abbvie.com." That's company description but we kept a brief description in About the role? Actually we included job description but not company description. The instruction says preserve ALL substantive information. The company description about AbbVie is substantive? It describes mission etc. Should we keep it? It might be considered boilerplate? It's not navigation/legal/EEO. It's about the company. Probably we should keep it. Could add a section "About AbbVie" but not in list. However we could incorporate it under About the role? Might be okay to add a heading "About AbbVie" as but not in the list; but the instruction says use for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). It doesn't forbid other headings, but says use for section headings (e.g. those). It might be okay to add other headings as long as they are . Safer to include it as a paragraph under About the role? But About the role is supposed to be about the role, not company. However we could rename About the role to About AbbVie? The instruction says use for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities...). It implies we can use those exact headings. It doesn't say we cannot use other headings, but to be safe we should stick to those. The company description could be placed under a heading like "About AbbVie" but that's not in the list; maybe we can omit it? But we must preserve ALL substantive information. Omitting company description would lose substantive info. However maybe the company description is considered boilerplate? It's not navigation/legal/EEO, but it's generic marketing. The instruction says remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. Company description is not those. So we should keep it.
We could add a heading "About AbbVie" as even though not in the example list; the instruction says use for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities...). It doesn't say only those. So it's okay.
Thus we will add:
About AbbVie

But we need to ensure we didn't include duplicated lines. That's fine. Now we need to ensure we didn't include any placeholder like "commensurate with experience". Not present. Now check for any leftover boilerplate: We removed EEO statements, accommodation links, etc. Also removed "Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages..." that's legal boilerplate about pay; should we remove? It's legal disclaimer about pay. The instruction says remove legal boilerplate. So we should remove that note. Also remove "Applicable only to applicants applying to a position in any location with pay disclosure requirements under state or local law:" That's also legal boilerplate about pay disclosure. However the pay range info is substantive; but the sentence is a legal qualifier. Might be considered boilerplate. The instruction says remove legal boilerplate. So we should strip that qualifier and just present the pay range info? But we need to preserve substantive information: the compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. That's also somewhat legal but it's describing the range. It's not a boilerplate like EEO; it's part of the pay disclosure. Might be okay to keep. However the leading phrase "Applicable only to applicants applying to a position in any location with pay disclosure requirements under state or local law:" is definitely boilerplate. We'll drop that. Thus our Pay section will be:Pay

But we didn't actually include the range numbers because they were not present in the posting. Indeed the posting didn't give actual numbers; it just said "The compensation range described below is the
