Responsibilities
- Conduct bifunctional immunological assays to support vaccine clinical development, adhering to Good Clinical Laboratory Practice (GCLP) requirements.
- Perform lab work within both BSL-2 and BSL-3 environments.
- Maintain a detailed inventory of freezer reagents, including controls, proficiency panels, and reference standards.
- Present progress on assay development and sample analysis to colleagues and senior management.
- Collect and analyze data to support troubleshooting, qualification, and other lab projects.
- Provide critical data review of both clinical and nonclinical data.
- Build team skills and collaborate effectively within the work group.
- Stay current on all departmental and corporate training.
- Organize work to meet deadlines and apply technical skills.
- Follow procedures for assigned tasks and seek guidance when necessary.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree with 0-2 years of laboratory experience in a relevant field of science.
- Willingness to work in a BSL-2 and BSL-3 environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- High level of self-motivation and organization.
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to take self-directed initiative and help advance independent projects.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good foundation in general scientific practice and in the principles and concepts of a relevant scientific discipline.
- Experience in developing and troubleshooting bioassays designed to assess antibody functionality.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including word processing, Excel, PowerPoint, and relevant scientific software.

- Knowledge of mammalian cells and aseptic techniques.
- Experience in developing and troubleshooting bioassays designed to assess antibody functionality.

Other Job Details
- Newly hired employees must agree to a background investigation that will include fingerprinting and Security Risk Assessment approval (background investigation conducted by the U.S. Department of Justice/FBI on individuals requiring access to select agents and toxins).
- Candidates will be subjected to pre- and/or post-hiring drug screening as a condition of continued employment.
- Physical/Mental Requirements: Ability to adhere to BSL-3 safety requirements, including wearing a fitted respirator and Tyvek suit for a few hours at a time.
- Relocation support available.

Pay
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $60,200.00 to $100,400.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 7.5% of the base salary.
