About the Role

  • Trains on and executes bioanalytical methods to perform bioanalysis for clinical and nonclinical studies under supervision
  • Analyzes multiple plates within the same day and can perform multiple assays or assay types
  • Generates high-quality data and documentation, limiting the number of analyst-related deviations
  • Interprets data to assess assay performance and identify assay-related anomalies; may determine sample dilutions
  • Executes necessary operations in LIMS (requesting samples, plate building, tracking sample movement, tracking pending analysis, and performing data entry)
  • Utilizes the ELN to document experimental procedures; works closely with Quality Control (QC) to address documentation findings
  • Prepares and qualifies reagents; re-orders laboratory supplies and reagents, as needed
  • Performs development experiments to troubleshoot assay-related issues under direct supervision; may summarize data under supervision and present data to Management
  • Actively participates in and may present work at sub-team/group meetings
  • May provide cross-functional support to other teams or groups, as needed
  • Ensures compliance for laboratory work and documentation in accordance with working practices, company SOPs, bioanalytical method procedures (BMPs), and regulations (e.g., GLP and GCP)
  • Responsible for own safety in the laboratory, as well as for the safety of co-workers and visitors
  • May assist with bioanalysis activity coordination for individual clinical and/or nonclinical programs under direct supervision of Management
  • May prepare study/program specific documentation, as needed
  • May assist with the training of other laboratory staff

Requirements

  • Demonstrates strong listening skills and shares information effectively with Management and team members
  • BS degree or MS degree in a scientific field
  • 0–3 years of relevant experience (industry or academic)
  • Adapts to changing priorities, as needed
  • Participates in their own professional and personal development; communicates effectively with their manager with respect to performance management and is open to receiving/giving feedback
  • May contribute to process improvement initiatives within the group

Pay

Salary Range (annually): $70,300.00 - $110,100.00
