About the role
The Auditory group is seeking an associate scientist to support the development of therapies to treat hearing loss. You will have the opportunity to engage in cutting edge research as part of our discovery efforts and to contribute to the development of new medicines.
Responsibilities
- Processing of tissue samples for molecular and histological assessments
- Conduct follow-up analysis of tissues from in vivo studies using qPCR, western blotting, immunohistochemistry and ELISA
- Handling and caring for mice, including performing procedures such as blood and/or tissue sample collection or injections
- Documentation of experimental procedures and results
- Data processing and statistical analysis using software such as FIJI, Excel, and Prism
- Closing collaborative interactions within and across research teams in the organization
Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. degree in Cell Biology, Neuroscience, Molecular Biology or a related discipline
- Experience in protein readouts (ELISA, Western) is highly desirable
- Experience in mouse handling is preferred

Pay
$70,300.00 - $110,100.00 annually
