As an Associate Scientist, you’ll be at the forefront of discovery — helping to develop and refine products that change the way veterinarians deliver care. This isn’t just a lab role. You will support the development of cutting-edge diagnostic solutions for the animal health market, including new assay development, executing standardized bench-level experiments, and assisting with the testing of new technologies and targets.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and optimization of immunoassays on the Company’s point of care diagnostic platforms, including verification, validation, and transfer to manufacturing activities.
  • Perform bench level experiments, generate high-quality data, and collaborate with senior scientists to analyze, interpret, and document results.
  • Assist with validation builds for new products and process changes.
  • Follow established product development workflows, SOPs, and testing protocols.
  • Contribute to the preparation of technical reports, summaries, and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and complete lab notebooks and records in accordance with internal quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Work in a team environment to creatively solve problems and overcome technical challenges.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to support the successful launch of new assays.
  • Participate in general lab maintenance and lab safety.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • 1+ years of laboratory or life sciences industry experience preferred (internships accepted).
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in scientific documentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot experiments and processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize and meet deadlines, and be flexible in responding to changing business demands.

Pay

$50,000 to $60,000 per year.
