Responsibilities
- Manages shift or multiple shift operations within manufacturing departments.
- Maintains budget, quality, and production goals.
- Sets standards and makes employment and staffing decisions.
- Interprets manufacturing policies, procedures, and programs.
- Supports the parenteral pharmaceutical manufacturing facility through the qualification and/or validation of equipment, raw materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Conducts studies and executes protocols.
- Serves as project lead with projects of intermediate scope and cross-functional teams.
- Handles routine tasks timely and accurately.
Qualifications
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Industry knowledge.
- Ability to work independently or in teams.
- Physical ability to walk some distance, stand for 3 to 6 hours, and lift up to 40 lbs. during a workday.
- Ability to work any shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) on any day of the week.
- Clean room gown training and ability to work in sterile suite areas for up to a full 8-hour shift.
- Minimum of a BA or BS in Sciences/Engineering/Math (or equivalent experience).
