In the role of Associate Scientist, you will support the development of analytical methods for the characterization of protein-based biologic therapies and process development activities. Work in a cross-functional team environment to advance therapies in late-stage development.
Responsibilities
- Analyze late-stage protein-based therapies with advanced analytical techniques such as capillary electrophoresis and liquid chromatography, as well as compendial methods such as pH, visual appearance, and turbidity.
- Support the development, optimization, and troubleshooting of analytical methods.
- Perform data analysis and prepare electronic notebook records of experimental data.
- Author technical protocols and reports.
- Present results at team meetings.
- Support regulatory filings as needed.
- Troubleshoot and maintain HPLC/UPLC instruments at an expert level.
- Use Empower software, including custom field creation and writing instrument methods.
Requirements
- Master’s degree and 2 years of scientific/pharmaceutical experience, or Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of scientific/pharmaceutical experience.
- Expertise in troubleshooting and maintaining HPLC/UPLC instruments.
- Proficiency in Empower software (e.g., custom field creation, writing instrument methods).
Pay
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00 per hour.
