Associate Scientist - Analytical Assay (HPLC)

About the role

The position will be providing analytical support to biotherapeutic process development teams, specifically focusing on large molecules (proteins, polysaccharides, nucleic acids, etc.). Candidates will work in a large diverse team, helping with advancing cutting edge pharmaceutical research.

Responsibilities

• Support biotherapeutic process development teams
• Work with large molecules including proteins, polysaccharides, nucleic acids, etc.
• Use techniques such as UV-Vis spectroscopy, analytical chromatographic separations (HPLC), small-volume multichannel pipetting, and plate-based assays
• Conduct pH, appearance, gel-based assays (including SDS Page, AGE, CGE)
• Operate independently after receiving direction
• Use electronic laboratory notebook systems and/or GMP documentation practices
• Use Empower or OpenLabs Software

Qualifications

• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
• 1-2+ years of industry/academic experience with HPLC, Western Blotting, and other gel-based assays
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biological or Chemical Science
• Experience with protein immunoblotting technology and attention to detail
• Ability to operate independently after receiving direction
• Knowledge of electronic laboratory notebook systems and/or GMP documentation practices
• Experience with Empower or OpenLabs Software

Full-time, Monday to Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
