About the role

We are looking for a talented, ambitious, and commercially driven Associate Sales Specialist, Impect, to support the continued growth of Impect across Southern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (SEMEA). Based in France, you will operate as a product sales specialist within Catapult’s EMEA sales organization, supporting Business Development Managers and regional sales teams. You will generate, develop, and close Impect sales opportunities across both new customers and Catapult’s existing customer base. This role involves bringing specialist knowledge of Impect’s Scouting and Analysis solutions, guiding customers through the commercial process from initial discovery and product positioning to demonstration, negotiation, and deal closure. This is an opportunity to build a career in sports technology sales while working with professional football organizations in some of the world’s most dynamic and rapidly growing markets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with key decision-makers and influencers, including Sporting Directors, Heads of Recruitment, Scouts, Analysts, Technical Directors, and other relevant football stakeholders.
  • Carry and deliver an individual Impect sales quota across the assigned SEMEA territory.
  • Generate new business opportunities for Impect across professional football clubs, federations, leagues, and other relevant sporting organizations.
  • Develop opportunities across Catapult’s existing customer base, identifying cross-sell and expansion opportunities for Impect solutions.
  • Support BDM-led opportunities where Impect forms part of a broader Catapult solution or multi-product commercial agreement.
  • Proactively prospect into identified target accounts and stakeholders to generate new pipeline.
  • Identify opportunities to position Impect alongside Catapult’s broader performance, video, and analytics ecosystem.
  • Partner with BDMs and Customer Success to support the retention and renewal of existing Impect customers, identifying expansion opportunities and contributing to successful renewal outcomes.

Requirements

  • A strong existing network in professional football across the SEMEA region.
  • A strong interest and/or experience in professional football, football recruitment, scouting, data analytics, or sports technology.
  • A strong desire to build and develop a career in technology sales.
  • Commercially driven with the motivation to achieve individual sales targets and contribute to team success.
  • The ability to proactively identify, develop, and progress new business opportunities.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Confidence engaging with customers and stakeholders across different levels of seniority.
  • The ability to understand customer challenges and translate them into compelling technology solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple customers and sales opportunities across a geographically diverse territory.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively within a matrixed sales organization.
  • Strong attention to detail and a disciplined approach to Salesforce, opportunity management, and forecasting.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international, and continuously evolving organization.
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • Fluency in Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, or Arabic would be highly advantageous.
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly across Southern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
  • Experience in sales, business development, account management, or another commercially focused role is desired.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience is preferred.

Benefits

  • Work with some of the most ambitious and intelligent people in an exciting industry, doing some of the best work of your life.
  • Constructive, open, and honest communication within a collaborative and challenging environment.
  • Opportunity to work across more than 20 countries, building global awareness and capability.
  • Continuous growth and development in a high-performance company with a growth mindset.
  • The satisfaction of knowing your work supports some of the most successful teams and athletes on the planet.
  • A purpose-driven work environment focused on meaningful impact for customers.
