About the role
As a Full Line Associate Sales Representative, you will support the Trauma, Reconstruction, and Extremities Sales team within an assigned territory. Your responsibilities include installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining equipment, setting up demo inventory, and assisting customers with in-service training. You will also assist the Sales Representative in generating revenue and meeting or exceeding the territory's quota.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the Trauma, Reconstruction, and Extremities Sales team within an assigned territory
- Installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining equipment
- Serving as a resource for customers and assisting them with the proper use and care of product equipment
- Assisting the Sales Representative in generating revenue and meeting or exceeding the territory's quota
- Leading and mentoring team members
- Traveling within the designated sales territory with 2-4 overnight stays per month
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably in the healthcare industry, specifically selling orthopedic products or as an EMS/Paramedic
- Proven track record of converting business at the surgeon or hospital level
- Ability to learn and apply high-level technical information related to Trauma, Reconstruction, and Sports Medicine Orthopaedic surgery
- Resourcefulness in becoming proficient in Smith & Nephew's orthopedic products
- Collaboration and dedication to working with all Smith & Nephew Sales Representatives to support a 24/7 on-call schedule within the territory

- Self-motivated salesperson with a passion for forming relationships and increasing sales revenue within the territory
- Passionate about improving patient outcomes through effective solutions
- Resourceful consultant willing to work tirelessly to become proficient in Smith & Nephew's orthopedic products
Skills
- Technical expertise in Smith & Nephew's Orthopaedics portfolio
- Strong interpersonal skills for building positive relationships with surgeons and hospital personnel
- Ability to learn and apply high-level technical information related to Trauma, Reconstruction, and Sports Medicine Orthopaedic surgery
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
