Associate Sales Representative- Boston, MA/Providence, RI

Responsibilities
Primary purpose of this position is to support the sales efforts of the full line Certified Surgical Sales Representatives and the Independent Manufactures Representatives within the assigned region. This involves developing and expanding sales in the OR Business Unit to existing and new accounts to meet sales goals and satisfy customer needs.
- Make sales calls to surgeons, operating room management, nursing, supply chain, and administration to communicate the benefits of CooperSurgical products.
- Compile and submit weekly and monthly sales and activity reports to the Regional Manager.
- Plan and execute a sales plan to achieve sales and business goals within the assigned region and territory.
- Complete training requirements for products and their surgical applications, including passing interim and final examinations.
- Demonstrate competency in communicating and training physicians, nurses, and sterilization personnel on the proper use and maintenance of products.
- Maintain up-to-date certification in Operating Room Protocol for Health Care Representatives, Exposure to Bloodborne Pathogens, and HIPAA regulations.
- Maintain medical documentation and a health profile to comply with customer requirements within the territory.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
- 0-2 years of documented and verifiable sales experience, preferably within the hospital/OR environment or clinical experience within Labor & Delivery.
- Documented ability to grow sales in previous sales positions.
- Able to travel approximately 50% in any given month.
- Must maintain medical documentation and a good health profile to comply with customer requirements.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.

Pay
The starting base pay for this role is $50,000-60,000 with total earnings potential up to $101,000 at target. The actual base pay includes many factors and is subject to change. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
